Certificate in Introductory Mining Skills (Surface Extraction)

This programme will provide students with the skills and knowledge required to enter the surface mining industry. Mining operations are varied and include opencast coal, gold, aggregate and quarry operations.

The programme has been designed by extractive industriesrepresentatives to ensure the best possible skills are delivered to a new entrant in the mining industry. Due to an increase in mining operations there is a significant shortage of trained workers making this an awesome career choice.

    Further Study paths
